It asks for a key, which is printed on the CD. Found and launched Honestech TVR2.5 software.
HONESTECH TVR 2.5 NO WAY TO PAUSE RECORDING SOFTWARE
Looked for but did not find Fushicai VIDEO DVR software (installed above) in
In particular, there was no "Imaging Device" (referred to in the paper instructions). Plugged in EASYCAP again, and the Device Manager blinked, but I couldn't find any new device there. It immediately responded that my Directx was up-to-date. From the small CD, installed Directx 9. I did R-click->Uninstal on the Unknown device. The yellow mark remained on the Unknown device in the Device Manager.
After a few seconds, my system tray said it installed successfully, but the device manager showed a new "Unknown device" with yellow exclamation box. Conected USB EASYCAP 2.0 device to VCR outputs and to USB connector on computer. Inserted small CD in computer and ran autorun.exe In an effort to help others, here's my installation and operation experience on Windows 7: This product worked well, making it a very good value for the money. Overall Review: I previously purchased a similar device elsewhere and found it useless (shaky video and no sound). Installation was a bit of a guessing game. The simple capture program provided works, but it is hardly "Turning your PC into full-featured video recording and editing workstation".ĭocumentation is minimal, badly translated to English, and largely devoted to use of the Ulead software that is not included. Some computers might not have sufficient resources to handle capture while running a full-featured program like Ulead.Ĭons: The "Overview" section of Ulead lists as a feature: "With Professional and easy to use video editor software: Ulead Video Studio 10.0 SE DVD", but no Ulead software is included. Having lightweight capture software can be good thing. Though it does not include the Ulead software claimed, the capture software provided is simple and easy to use.
